Andras Jucksch Ellendersen (Curitiba, 1996) is a Brazilian-Faroese composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist noted for his "[maniacal] attention to every detail" (Edgar Allan Poets, 2022) and for the "[admirable] integrity of his idea to integrate [...] cultures" (DPRP, 2022).


His pieces have been performed by high-level and internationally renowned performers such as the Ensemble EKA (FO) and Det Fynske Kammerkor (DK). In 2023, he has been a prize winner at the KORAL23 composition contest (Odense, Denmark) for his choral piece Den blinde, røde orm.


In 2022, under the pen name Andras Atlason, he has released his first rock-oriented solo record, Atlantis (Tutl Records), with promoting concerts in Brazil and in the Faroes.

 

Andras has studied composition with Samuel Andreyev and Harry Crowl. Besides composing, he is a singer at the vocal ensemble Nós em Voz and works as a music educator, music producer and soloist.
